November: a month of two halves
Collaboration with Helen, creating exciting content
WYAAT Senior Leadership Programme, celebrating successes
Happy Birthday to us…In November, Clement Leadership development turned 2! I'm incredibly proud and thankful for this achievement, we never imagined we'd have come so far in two years.
I look forward to growing with the business, continuing to work with people from all walks of life, clients of both large organisations and individuals, who seek to develop themselves.
In November, we began the Aspiring Directors Programme with the NHS North East Leadership Academy this month. The programme looks to generate executive directors for the coming years, developing leadership skills. The programme also endeavours to build a talent pool of outstanding individuals. The programme includes mentorship and executive coaching for all delegates thereby adding greater value, all the best parts of my job. Going forward, we're incredibly excited to be working with Helen Davis , who will lead our new Women in Leadership programmes for 2025, alongside the talented Carrie Whitham MBA, MCMI, MInstLM. With Helen’s extensive experience including, Executive Director and NHS Board member, and Carrie’s complementary expertise including, NHS Director, and qualifications, they are the perfect team to shape and deliver this transformative programme.
This month, we saw the end of Cohort 1 of 5 at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. Working the Royal College of Paediatrics constitutes a large part of my work, so seeing this cohort complete the programme is not only an achievement for them, but an achievement for me too. I genuinely value my time with them, and learn alongside them. I'd like to thank the senior leadership team at the college for their ongoing support through and at the end where delegates presented their reflections back.
A massive congratulations to the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts Senior Leadership Programme delegates on completing their nine-month programme. All delegates completed the programme engaging in placements, received mentoring and executive coaching, discussed reflections, and presented their journey and future to senior executives. I'm truly privileged to work with everyone.
November has also included some deep sadness by the passing of a close colleague, an incredibly kind and generous individual who will be missed by me and his colleagues. Our thoughts go out to his family at this very sad time. With this incredibly sad news, I've reflected on just how special life is and reminds us to be kind to every individual, within every interaction.
